September 28 I want Yoouu! This is the third blog entry I'm writting, IF this one gets deleted.. MSN'll have HELL to pay for it! *throws tantrum all over the place*
Yesterday's quiz sucked, I got stuck sitting near a VERY smelly dude!
The quiz sucked. Sucked BIG time.
The teams were dull and boring, not to mention daft. The quiz was basically won by the best of the worst.
AND, my dad was ALMOST in tears at the end of it.
What made me cry.. the clothes.. =|
And the entertainment.
Which consisted of a dance, a very gay dance by 6 girls.. at the end.. this girl does this werid.. thing.. okay, nevermind.
A girl danced on a pot, which was kinda' cool untill she lifted her arms releaving a lot of sweat.. EEK.
Okay, the sweaty-ness was nothing in comparisn to the NAveen Andrew's look-alike of a girl, who was wearing CARGOS and a FORMAL shirt!
Why can't people wear what they're comfortable wearing?!
Why don't they just GET IT!
Not to mention plastic shoes with white-stone studded heels.. =|
On a completely differnet note..
I'm leaving today..
Adventure camp. =(
Y'all know that I suck at sports.. Adventure camp.. *cries*
+ I'll miss my Mommy and my DADDY!
I'll miss my Meatball.
My friends/online and offline.
And, Most of all.. My Tommyboi!
I love him!
I love them all!
I'll miss them all!
*sobs*
I'll catch y'all after I'm back.. IF I'm still alive!
September 26 Style..Throughout my life, I've been the girl in the T-shirt and capris/jeans.
Today, when I looked at all the clothes I own, I relaized.. MOST of my T-shirts have been replaced by "casual shirts/tops" and formal clothing.. I have ONE pair of capris thats too short. And, are creeping me out now..
I'm wondering, WHEN did the girl in the jeans and T-shirt turn into the girl with hardly any T-shirts?
Where is that girl who had short neck-length hair go?
How did she turn into me? More importantly WHEN?
When did my hair grow out, how did my "Chinki-like-tilted-eyes" become bigger.. and more.. "Deer shapped"?
When did the casual no make-up wearing girl turn into the girl with a LOTof under-eye make up?
Where did the "Me" that I knew go?
I don't know if its the TV shows that said.. "The fashion Designers need to be as "In Vouge" and in style as the clothes they make/draw".
Or my friends saying, "Shruti, give up the Tomboy nonsense and start acting and dressing like a girl, which is what you are, btw".
Or just the self-realization that I need to be more well-presented that did it.
But, it did.
Its so strange, my friends ask ME for make-up tips, now.. "How do you use make-up but still make it look so natural?".
I'll tell you how, its call using very little 'cause you bought it with your pocket money and don't want it to get over.. and spreading it around your eye like nobody's buisness.
"Your clothing is never matched properly, but it looks so cool!"
Thank god for comments like that.. It gives me enough to confidence to belive that I can and make it big in the fashion industry.
As for the matching part, too much of one thing ruins the entire thing.
Style is just what you make it, what you're comfortable in, if you wear a multi-coloured-stripped-trouser and carry it off with confidence, well.. thats awesome for you!
Chances are.. people will say "You're bold" 'cause they know that they'll never ever in a million years have the guts to do what you're doing.
Thats how the cookie crumbles.
What you wear can define who you are and what kinda' person you are.
I have a sad knack with that, I judge people WITH their clothes, for which I should be hanged, yeah.
I have NO idea how this blog entry went topsy-turvey on me..
I'm just blurting out what I think in a pathetic manner.
*Hangs head in shame*
September 20 We are sorry to say....that as of 6 am tomorrow morning, Shrutilaya Ramanathan will no longer exist.
Yes, yes.. I chose this group.
I can't help it, okay?
Its just too hard!
I thought my life was going to be a walk in the park! I thought I'd have time to paint, I thought I'd have time to write, i thought my blog will have a post.. EVERYday. How wrong I was.
I have more work to do this year, than I did last year.
I am going to fail History.
Budha's real name is Sidhartha, and his son, Rahula.
You know what?! I really don't give a rtas ass about him or Bimbisara and his 3 wives or Asoka and the stupid Kalinga war!
"India is a country with a rich and interesting history, this year you will be learning the importance of our culture and fine heritage"
Why didn't they mention.. "India has numerous rulers whose names we cannot remember or pronounce, so we're giving you all their names, so that you can do the dirty work for us, and reduce the rapidly incresing population(Economics, sorry) by driving these young and *intelligent* minds into commiting suicide".
Thank you, Government, I appreciate your concern for our economic development.
Now, I try and remind myself that this sujbect does not have maths. I'm lucky that it dosen't.
I don't usually cry to much, I just say it.. don't actually do it.
I really think I'm going to have a mental breakdown though.. =(
TOAST.
Thats what I am now, TOAST.
I like TOAST.
I just don't like being Toasted.
The world is a sad, sad place, with no more butterflies or happiness.
*Sigh*
I neeedd chocolate and sleep!
