December 28 Sport-challenged-Me.Yes, my last blog was a tad bit.. well.. Okay, I have NOT become a scientologist, okay?
After the past week, I've come to the conclusion that I cannot be a part of any sort of sport, what-so-ever. I basically just suck at sports.
Right from eating contests (Which btwm is considered a sport!) to Go Karting, YES, you may read again, I suck at Karting.
The entire episodes been video taped by my dear friend, so IF y'all happen to see it, just remember, you can't draw a proper circle, I can!
To y'all imaginary folk who won't (hopefully) find the video, I'll narate. (Yeah, I am THAT bored)
To begin with, my foot got stuck in some weird part of the Kart, so Viren's brother had to pull it out. Thankiiee yoou.
We finally started moving and I being the genius that I am, peressed the break instead of the accelerator and stopped moving. After I realised my mistake, I began moving once more, I was pretty good at moving at an ants pace though, I must say. When it was time to turn, this time, I pressed the accelerator instead of the break and crashed into the tyres on the sidelines.
The "helper" guys came and pulled me out me out of that mess, and there I was.. off again, this time, I saw Isabella passing me, I waved at her and hit the tyres on the sidelines again. Once again, I was pulled out and was moving again.. Just when I began gathering a bit of speed.. I forgot about the third turning and I err.. crashed, YET again!

Comment: Oh, freak. I can't lose to the ten year old! C'mon you nasty dirty ugly machine, MOVE IT.
Once again, I pressed the accelerator a tad bit too hard and yes, you got it, I crashed, throwing the tyres in the air.. resulting in Isi crashing too. Heh, Go ME!
Once again, they pulled me out, I turned the wheel the wrong way and admidst the tyres I was again. yes, yes.. the dude pulled me out again.
I finally managed to finish this lap without any crashes.

Yes, I wasn't looking at the road, heh. I was shouting at Viren..
Luckily enough though, I completed the rest of the laps without ANY more crashes. Honest!
When I finally got out, Viren came to me and said.. "Aww, Shruti! If you had gone a LITTLE slower, the snail would have over-taken you".
No, seriously, I was THAT bad. you want proof?
Both Isabella and Riya finished 10 laps in the same time I finished 5. *Sings to self*
Yes, I am sport challenged, DEAL with it.
Update: In today's pani puri eating contest, *Suprise Suprise* I lost.
I ate 15 pani puries. Swati ate 34 and I ate Viren won by eating 36.
Nope, I am definately sport challenged. There is not a single bone in my body that's even slightly sportly-inclined.
*Sigh* December 16 Hanging by a moment..Strange day, this one.
I woke at 10:30 to find myself learning economics and just not concentrating. Everything I learnt seemed to be so unimportant. Economic development seems so trivial. They say by 2020 the world is going to run out of drinking water. When were going to be fighting like animals for water, why is it important who has more industries or nuclear weapons, afterall, such things ARE the cause of the destruction all around. It's all our fault, and instead of doing something about it, we're busy pouring money into cricket or investing in some absolute craprot. This race is creating it's own grave. We're going to die out soon.
Ironic thing being, we're going to die because of too much water or lack of it. Heh.
At the rate the ice caps are melting.. it is said that the oceans will rise so much that it'll wipe out the entire planet in 'bout 80 years. But, if this we're going to die out due to lack of drinking water, why bother.
Personally, I think we should do whatever we can to stay alive as long as possible. WHEN the water submerges land, let it. It was supposed to happen anyway, 'cause humans can't keep dominating. It happened with 'em dinosaurs, it SHOULD happen with us too.
Some theories say, alines have very slender arms and legs and bodied with very large heads, only 'cause they've leanred to survive without water. So, according to this theory, when we run out of water, we will be transported into this new dimention where we'll look like them.. we'll learn how to survive without water and adapt to those conditions.
"Doom's day is coming".. a few people I know once went to the beach and waved around boards saying that.. =P
Stop thinking about the past, stop thinking about the future..

I just belive that.. our time as a race seems to be coming pretty ssooonn.

Damn them Plain White T's, they get me all teary everytime I listen to them. Radio's in Heaven, it may be about one thing, but it applies to many situations.. Lyrics really help when your going through a tough time, y'know. They help you relate and feel what the singers feeling.
Sadly enough, apparently 'reading aloud' does the same in regard to the author of the book.
Yes, I've just finished my English For Communication exam, baby and I did pretty well! I was I think the only person who finished the paper in time, drew lines and alternated with black and blue.
 Go ME! Arjun and Swati forgot to write about 30 marks outta' 150. Manjari, finished the paper fifteen whole minutes before time was up. HOW she did that, I don't know.. I wrote for 2 hours and 59.35 minutes. My hands were pink and I had a dent on my index finger.  OKay, so I have english II tomorrow, so, I can spend my time blogging and not study. I love English, it's so easssyyy! Though Isabella might not agree with me.. =P
It's been so long since I've read a good book, the problem is my obsessive compulsiveness, when I get a book, I can't not read it, once I finish reading it, I feel all lonely and sad.. I want a book! Landmarks' having a 20% off sale because of their 20th Annie, I can't wait for their 100th annie, Will I be alive? More importantly, will Landmark still be around? Maybe I should go and get a few books with my friends.
Then again, I never buy stuff when I go with my friends, dunno' why. I went shopping with them on Tuesday.. Leena, Swati and Isi bought stuff, I didn't, even though I saw this super-sexy top that i wanted to pick up for new years.. I didn't buy it. Speaking of which, I want to buy a good pair of heels, I think that's what I'll buy myself for the new year.. Only, I'm not very fond of shopping for heels, last time, i tried on a pair, stood up with great difficulty, when I took one step, I feel.. flat on my fact. SPLAT! I hate that look the dude gave me, I was alien or summat. *Hmph* Ball's to you pal.

I need to find clothes for a LOT of "events" this month.. so many of 'em end o'the year parties. I have to go to Viren's brother's party.. Which I think is highly uneccessary. Swati can go 'cause she's his girlfriend, I'm not. But after the text messages we exchanged yesterday, I'll go, only 'cause he's super-nice.
Viren: Your coming to the party, Right?
Me: Umm.. No.
Viren: Whhhyyyyyy? Swati'll also be there!
Me: SHE, is your girlfriend, I am not.
Viren: Abhishek and Prashanth are coming too!
Me: THEY ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS YOU IDIOT.
